Sephora blacklisted me

Sephora blacklisted my account because i made too many returns. I spend over 4K per year on their products.
I always like to order online for their free samples and if my items is less than 50 dollars, I will keep the item i wanted and return other. I had been doing this for over a year and now they block every account.
I have account with 5K points perk and they blocked their account from buying online.

Cnevans, you used the term "we" suggesting you are employed by Sephora. You sound just as rude as Customer Service by phone (not surprising)!

hoqt's review does not indicate that any returns were attempted without a receipt as you allege. hoqt states all order have been placed Online. Therefore, there must be record of receipt. Even if the customer does not provide one, Sephora Online can, and does, easily look up orders/receipts for customer returns.
hoqt's blacklisting stems from, just as stated, the volume of returns...period. As someone mentioned, this is not a profitable practice, however Sephora should list a specific restriction in their Terms of Use to prevent these obstacles and harsh treatment of customers. It sounds like if hoqt had known there was a limit to returns, hoqt could have abided by such a guideline. hoqt's abuse of service is due to not being informed in advance which wouldn't be so difficult for Sephora to do.
I read another complaint Online about a customer whose account was blocked simply for placing orders using multiple different Email addresses, and over time, not in a short period of time. The customer explained that she did a lot of Online shopping, not just at Sephora, and that it never failed that 3rd parties would spam her email and after a while she would cancel an email address and set up a new one to avoid the constant spam. Everyone says that their systems are secure and that they don't share email addresses, yet it always gets out to solicitors who buy lists from vendors.
So, in this case, her only offense was what Sephora termed as "suspicious behavior" along with a presumption she was abusing the system though they didn't realize that her changing her email was due to a reason unrelated to her Sephora account. This customer also stated she never returned a product for any reason. She was just prevented from placing orders because they assumed she was committing fraud though they couldn't even figure out what type of fraud they suspected.
Sephora seems paranoid and unreasonable.

First of all, the only time we "blacklist" is if you return an obscene amount of products WITHOUT a receipt in a small time period. It is a third-party who does this because it is a high-risk of theft! You abuse the system, you get punished. And btw, you will be able to buy things. You just can't return product without a receipt for 3 months. Stop acting like a victim and keep your damn receipts!

Absolutely. Stop complaining. This means you returned more than you actually bought=Your business isn't worth it.

well, maybe u shouldn't RETURN SO MUCH. you are wasting a ton of products. maybe u should take the time and research the products you want to buy, ask for samples.

It doesn't matter how much you spend, you proababaly have damanged out so much products, all for your silly samples. SOUNDS LIKE YOU DESERVE IT. It sounds like you are abusing the return policy. so just stop with your whining. Sephora is so giving, don't go there girlfriend.
