First online order - wrong item shipped


Just placed my first online order with Sephora on 10/14/13. Very disappointed :(
I spent over $500 and was shipped the Tria Acne Blue Light instead of the Tria Hair Removal Laser I originally ordered. The Blue Light is at least $100 less than the Laser plus I had selected an online only color. I've been told I can exchange it at my local Tysons store but it won't be the color I wanted. Color isn't a big deal honestly but when I spend that much I definitely expect more precision and convenience. The mail exchange will take weeks they said and I'm very wary as others have mentioned their returns were not credited back or "lost". I was quite excited about my new VIB status and would like to continue coming back but I need a good reason to at this point. Please make amends with this customer Sephora! I'll be exchanging the Blue Light for my ordered Laser but am not impressed with this first time experience.
