    Who isn't intrigued by the new Clinique color pop blushes? Well apparently at Sephora in Westfarms mall in CT you can't spend more a few minutes swatching , or they will call the security guard and have him following around the store! And I had earned my vip rouge that day too! I feel like I was profiled because of my tattoos and age. The security officer followed me around the store after I finished swatching the blushes!     I have had nothing but great experiences with Sephora up until recently. I recently sent two returns; I had a bad reaction to one and the color of the other one did not at all match the description on the website. I sent them back separately since the one I knew I did not like immediately and the other, it took me some time to notice the terrible reaction on my skin. The last time I used Sephora's pre-paid mail label to return a product was a little while back but it took them over 3 weeks to acknowledge the refund then another week to get the refund back on my card.   • Frustrating and Stressful Situation with Sephora



    I am a long time consumer with Sephora and spend what, to me, is a lot of hard-earned money. However, my last online purchase experience was a nightmare. The total was nearly $350 dollars and as I was waiting what seemed to be an unusually long time for shipment confirmation, I received an email saying my order was cancelled. I called customer service and they said one item was missing at the warehouse so they cancelled it. I asked if he could replace the item with something of equal cost and still send the order.     Disgusted! I received "Sephora VivaBox" for Christmas. It's a sampler of high end fragrances w a gift certificate included for full size choice of sampled fragrances. Sounds good? Well, I thought so too. Until I tried to redeem @ Sephora store in JCPenny's. Was told to take it to store where it was purchased ...1.5 hours away from me! Is that about stupid or what?     I have been trying to find out the status of a return made at the beginning of October for a month now. I call, and am disconnected. I email, and am told the phones are fine and call. Once, I was told to email another department - without the address to send that email. I have been given conflicting information, and have been trying to resolve this issue for quite some time. I used to recommend Sephora to others, now I advise them to stay away from the company. More...
