    Sephora is hands down the worst place to shop. They are so rude unhelpful and follow you around the store but rarely ever ask if you need help and if they do they are in your face and talking to you like you're stupid.     I had a bad experience with Sephora Canada online. When I ordered from their online site, it said the total price would be $86.45. Then when I pressed okay to pay, the price changed to $93.54. When I emailed them they told me that they are no longer paying duties.   • Sephora- Bare minerals full flawless face brushes shedding



    I purchased a few hundred dollars worth of makeup and supplies in September 2013 to do my own makeup for my wedding day. After using the makeup now for a few months, one thing that I am very disappointed in was my brush set.     Sephora & Sephora JC Penny's are not interchangeable. You can use a Sephora gift card at Penny's but not the other way around. Very disappointed :( I spent over $500 and was shipped the Tria Acne Blue Light instead of the Tria Hair Removal Laser I originally ordered.   • Sephora charges wrong sales tax



    Sephora consistently charges me the wrong tax rate for online purchases. PA sales tax is 6% except in Allegheny County (7%) and Philadelphia County (8%). I live in Beaver County but am always charged 7%. I have spoken to and emailed customer service and they tell me there is nothing they can do - the computer determines how much sales tax to charge.     I was thrilled to receive my Sephora makeup brushes which were $60, and I've been an ongoing customer and had no problems. Up until I recieved it today.     The first of my complaints is with their pricing structure. Canadians are charged an average 15% more for items when converted to Canadian dollars (from their US base price). In case nobody at Sephora has noticed, the Cdn/US exchange rate has been either at or above par for nearly a year now. They are using a rate of exchange that that we have not seen since 2008.     Judging from most of the reviews here, maybe I was one of the lucky few that got GREAT customer service from Sephora!! What had happened was that I had ordered a few items from their website last Friday and they were supposed to arrive on tuesday. Sephora, - Edison NJ. This is the second time where I had a bad experience. This is unacceptable as a client who shops at Sephora more than I should. I am actually even considering shopping at the large dept stores that have the same collection and are more customer friendly and are not rude. Anyway I walked into this Sephora just yesterday and was greeted by a gentleman and have to say was loud, obnoxious and very annoying to the point of telling me are you blind can you not see that the shades of shadow are shimmer and the ones in my hand were not. What a hidious example of customer representation at Sephora. First time I was there I had a horrible experience too,makeup artist who said she was busy too help me and would get someone to help me. I waited 30 minutes and nobody helped and I walk to the register and see the same artist laughing it up at the register on the phone.
I am so mad, I have decided as I am writing this it's time I take my money where its appreciated.

Sephora time square! 1500 broadway is the worst store ever! They mistreat clients and employees as well! The managers are a joke for the most part..not all! Some of them deserve better but the store directors are extremely unprofessional and they never try to satisfy their customers! I am extremely disappointed and will NEVER shop at this location they should have put their money towards revamping and training their store directors instead of remodeling the store!

Yesterday I decided to go to sephora, I moved from NYC 3 months ago to Miami, sephora stores in Manhattan are simply amazing, the staff helps you if you ask for help but they don't follow you around or annoy you. So I went to the sephora store which is located inside of JC Penney at the International Mall in Doral, Florida. First of all the store looks quite disorganized, the make up looks dirty, the counters look dirty, basically the store is a mess. I wanted to buy the Tarte lash curler, after browsing the store (which mind you it is TINY) finally found it in corner, they only had 2 of 'em, I decided to open the box and take a look, after all I was going to pay 15$ +tax for a lash curler, I wanted to make sure it was a good purchase, as soon as I opened one of the staff which was a woman in her late 50's screamed at me saying I couldn't test a lash curler because it was like a toothbrush, it is "personal" mmm ok yes FYI lash curlers are not as personal as a toothbrush, I wasn't even trying the lash curler on me I was just taking a look at it. This woman was rude, lacked politeness, class, and had no idea about what costumer service is, she also acted as if she was the owner of the store, she implied i had to purchase the lash curler because I had made use of it, at first I thought I was going to buy it, but after seeing how rude this woman was to me I left it there, I was going to purchase around 150$ on makeup, but did not because of the bad service, I am quite disappointed on sephora in Miami.

I placed an online order with Sephora on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. The billed my CC at once (how nice), but they shipped my order FOUR calendar days later (excluding Wednesday)--on Monday March 15, 2010.

When I contacted their customer service re my order, they just sent me a standard e-mail about their shipping procedures (did they even read my e-mail?).

I am long-time customer and a Beauty Insider, and I am very disappointed with Sephora.

i hate sephora they,if your black do not go they will try and say your stealing when your not the will give you samples and say that your taking them the security guard only looks at COLORED girls ,so if your black do not go...... please

Very upset with Sephora Customer service-I used to like it-placed order 7 days ago-still showing "sent to wharehouse"-emailed by inquiry 2x-no response-I will not buy from this company againg and am also complaining to Temptu as I do not want to purchase future temptu products from Sephora

Sephora - Houston, Texas. I was in Sephora at the Village Arcade, a young black lady with long curly hair (I forgot her name because it is different. She was very professional, very knowledge of the product, and very pleasant and nice. The concerns I had with my skin the product that she suggested has been working wonders for me. Keep up the good work!!
